Why does my vehicle give interference after mounting new LED rear lights?

This is a common problem (Canbus interference). LED lights consume much less power than traditional lights. Your vehicle's on-board system (Canbus) registers this low consumption as a 'faulty light', leading to an error message on the dashboard or rapid flashing.

Solution: You solve this by fitting a resistance (Canbus module), which simulates power consumption. Or opt directly for our Canbus-proof LED rear lights with, for example, a 5-PIN bayonet connection, which solve the problem immediately.

What labels are mandatory for LED rear lights on the trailer or truck?

For legal use in Europe, your LED rear lights must comply with various ECE approvals. This is essential for both MOT and use on public roads. The main ones are:

• ECE R7: Approval for rear lights and brake lights
• ECE R6: Approval for direction indicator/indicator light
• ECE R38: Approval for rear fog light (if present)
• ECE R3: Approval for retroreflector (passive reflection)
